ZAP - Bugs Away!
After some recent applications a few bugs conserning the creation of database users were brought to our attention. We have spent some time tracking these bugs and have fixed all of them. These include a bug where upon the creation of new accounts a database user was not created and the text "Unable to select the database" were shown. This will no longer happen. Thank you for your continued support of our new system and your patience and help in tacking down the bugs in the system.

Application Process - 3
I have now fixed the bug in the application process where the Variables.php was not being written properly. There should be no further problems with the setup process.
Happy Simming!
Application Process - 2
We have now finished modifying the application process validation, which means that when you go through the form to apply for hosting your erros will be picked up and shown to you before you can complete the form. Also we have found a small bug in the setup process that is invalidating the Variables.php when it is created, we are currently working a fix for this and we will notify you when it has been completed.
Application Process
The simmplicity application process has been updated. You will no longer need to run the SMS install from your account, everything you need will be setup during the initial installtion. There are rules to each part of the form which have yet to be put in place. I will get around to these as soon as possible. The form verication will be performed using javascript and will highlight each field in green or red with an error message telling you what has gone wrong.
Simmplicity Returns
As im sure some of you reading this are aware, a few months ago
server failer meant that Simmplicity was forced to shut down. This did
not only affect those people using the service but anyone related to
Simmplicity or Sim Members.
It is a real blow when months of hard work on skins, posts,
stroylines etc is destroyed in such random curcumstances. This is why
Simmplicity is now re-launching in a more secure and reliable way.
Last time around Simmplicity had very little in the way of backup
capability. This time that has all changed, we have 2 backup locations
and also i will be downloading periodic backups to my home server.
I look forward to working with you all again!
